The Fist Coalition

Fist Coalition’s music encompasses the precise definition of one unified, yet opposing truth: determination and passion. With a steady and controlled feel, Fist Coalition blends soft symphonic undertones into concrete dialogue, capturing the listener through the trio’s rare combination of assertive content with smooth deliverance.

Fist Coalition has experienced momentous growth since 2008. Recent accomplishments include The release of new single “I Know” featuring West Coast Legend Ras Kass (2015) with future releases with industry Artist from Rah Digga, Bizarre of Eminem’s D-12 and more. The Fist Coalition has also been an award winner for Best Video category at The Grand Rapids Hip Hop Award’s (2010). Their Nominations include Best Group, Anthem of the Year (Celdom Seen’s “Mozart”), and Best Hustler (Mic Hunter D.) Fist Coalition was recently Nominated at the 2014 (MUMA) Urban Midwest Music Awards held in Chicago for best regional group. Fist Coalition has graced Chicago’s presence at venues including The Wild Hare, Reverend Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH Convention, and Tini Martini Ultra Lounge, Subterranean Lounge, Olympic Theater. Having performed at countless venues throughout Detroit, Muskegon, Lansing & Home city Grand Rapids Mi. The Fist Coalition has also gained substantial recognition for themselves in Atlanta, GA through a promotional campaign (2011) Also being on the 354 Tour 2014 with Dr Dre artist Jon Connor & Problem as well as being on the Vamp Tour 2014 to hit SXSW, and throughout TX and being on the Big Heff Industry Tour throughout Ohio 2014.

The Fist Coalition consists of three members – Celdom Seen (Johnathon White), Mic Hunter D. (Tamayrr Salahuddin), and Big Shaady (Rashaad Myrie). During the early 2000’s, Celdom Seen worked briefly with Tony Chambers while pursuing a notable solo career and releasing “Between the Shadows” (2005) which sold approximately 5,000 copies. Shortly thereafter, Celdom Seen began working with artist Mic.Hunter D.  Shortly after the musical talented Producer Big Shaady joined the hip group to create an up and coming force to soon be recognized in the hip hop community. These three: Celdom Seen, Mic Hunter D., and Big Shaady became The Fist Coalition, working closely together for years. The group’s cohesiveness could be tied to the release of “Mozart,”(produced and written by Celdom Seen) a successful single.(2007) They released Coalition L.P. The group members realized the chemistry amongst themselves. Fist Coalition emits a striking harmony, both musically and personally, as each member of the trio carries their roles in a perfectly-balanced fashion. Stated by Celdom Seen, the song “True Colors” (2010) set the fate of Fist Coalition (Celdom Seen, Mic Hunter D., and Big Shaady) into a thriving enterprise.

Individually, the members of Fist Coalition deserve salutations for personal successes as well as group successes. Celdom Seen has gained recognition for his acting roles in the television show Series ABC’S Detroit 187, and films including Real Steel (2010, starring Hugh Jackman) and 30 Minutes or Less (2011,
Ben Stiller Productions). As well, Celdom Seen has also appeared in The movie Setup along with 50 Cent and Bruce Willis (2011). Mic Hunter D. has acted in a feature role in the television show Detroit 187, along with films including Harold and Kumar 3 (2011), 30 Minutes or Less (2011, Ben Stiller Productions), and When Things Fall Apart (2010, starring 50 Cent). The producer Big Shaady, has also gained regional recognition, being placed in the top 5 of the Detroit Istandard producer showcase receiving honors from industry producers Nick Speed, Knox(from the Olympics) and Apollo Brown.

Fist Coalition has been invited as guests on numerous local radio stations, and have had their music played locally on 104.5 WSNX, WYGR, WGCI in Chicago and many others major clear channel stations. They also host and edit behind-the-scenes footage of their performances, studio work, and lives on Celdom Seen TV, which airs weekly on Grand Rapids, MI’s local access television station (25).

With an influential and encompassing background, Fist Coalition has touched every area of the industry with remarkable effort and endurance. They have certainly gained the attention of local hip-hop listeners as well as countless fans in several other states in the mid-west and south. Fist Coalition has proven historically positive outcomes and a business-minded drive.
