Combining indie guitar-driven tracks and dance inspired drum beats, San Francisco’s
Circus Season was born.
The band met each other during their first semester at the University of San Francisco,
in 2015, having Singer/ Guitarist/ Synth Player/ Beat-Maker Brandon Do met Bassist/
Synth Player Nicholas Eremita at a beach bonfire and Guitarist Alex Tatman at a dorm
One night, Brandon invited Nick and Tat to his makeshift dorm room studio where the
trio began jamming, with a drum machine, which led to the formation of Circus Season.
The band name originated from a play on words having Circus meant the diversity of
influences from each member and Season from the time they met in college. Together,
the band drew influences from British and West Coast indie-rock/ pop, alternative, electronica, dance-punk, and post-punk revival and turning their sound into an avant-garde, D.I.Y., indie dance-alternative with new songs.
