Born in Modena, a city North of Italy, known for the Ferrari car and the Balsamic Vinegar. Luciana, with her twin brother Andrea, is the youngest daughter of Giovanni Basile and Clara Di Rosa. Giovanni and Clara were very hard working people that raised 6 children.
Luciana spent most of the youth practicing several sports, and learning how to cook with the invaluable knowledge and experience of her mother.

After nearly 20 years in the States, thru continued education, a family with two children (Andrew and Colin) husband Jesse,  shared owner and manager of Che Buono, and a long career in business finance and operation, Luciana enjoyed catering and planning corporate events for up to 200-250 people, and with over $50K budget. Luciana also planned her own wedding, which was held at a South Beach Mansion, in Florida, (where she and her family lived up to  a  few years ago).

Luciana moved with the family to California three years ago. it was after her mother’s dead shortly after, that she decided to peruse her passion for catering and planning events, on a full time basis. Che Buono, an Italian cuisine food truck and catering service, was then created.

How did the name “Che Buono” come about? That is what her younger’s son Colin says when he likes something mom makes… so from there, the name of the family new business!
Che Buono has since earned 5 stars reviews across Sacramento and the Bay Area. Google rates Che Buono the best Italian food near the Sacramento and Elk Grove area.
