Chef Lori “Lorious” Rogers is a chef specializing in both classic and contemporary comfort food. Born in California and raised by a close-knit family anchored in southern tradition from Alabama, this “Calibama” chef learned very early that food cooked with love has the power to inspire and heal.
Chef Lorious has been cooking for her family and friends in her kitchen (more affectionately known as her “Love Lab”) for almost two decades. Recently, she has chosen to share her culinary gifts and recipes with the world; her popular and informative YouTube cooking videos have endeared her to many. Chef Lorious does not consider herself to be a trendy social media food sensation. Rather, she prefers to focus on using her recipes and platform to serve others by empowering them to follow their life’s calling and mission—whether it be in the kitchen or the boardroom.
Chef Lorious frequently partners with Williams-Sonoma in the Washington D.C. metro area to conduct cooking classes and community-cooking demonstrations using her own line of signature seasonings, that are sure to give your next meal the ‘Calibama’ touch!
In March 2018, Chef Lorious was featured in 87|Magazine and she appears regularly on the ABC network-affiliated show, Good Morning Washington. Additionally, Chef Lorious is a devoted wife and mother of three beautiful children who enjoys serving her church family. She is grateful for the opportunity to take her message of loving others through food to the masses. Whether you are watching her prepare fried chicken or skimming the ingredients list of her exquisite beef wellington recipe, you will feel the love that she has for both her community and for cooking!
